‘SIGN ACTION SPACE’, an experimental short film based on music by the VIENNA IMPROVISERS ORCHESTRA and the musicians’ hand movements, produced by MovingThought – Film + Philosophy, is officially selected by the 11th Music Film Festival. The film explores the relationship between musical hand movements, sound, and space, deconstructing and condensing the orchestral communication process in graphic close-ups that focus on the hands of the conductor and the musicians.
