‘PARTITUR IM JETZT / IN THIS PRESENT SPACE‘ is the cinematic realisation of a concert of the VIENNA IMPROVISERS ORCHESTRA. The film shows an entirely ad hoc created piece of charged momentary music that develops over 48 minutes – and offers a precise and dense insight (without camera pans) into the VIENNA IMPROVISERS ORCHESTRA‘s working praxis of instant composition conducting.
Recorded on September 27th 2021 at the Odeon Theater, Vienna.

The VIENNA IMPROVISERS ORCHESTRA at the 51st edition of the Moers Festival, June 5th 2022. – You can listen to and watch the complete 46min. absolute ad hoc created music piece – and the beautiful resonance by the audience.
Due to the special stage-setting, the VIO was surrounded by the audience of the fully packed festival hall.
The concert was recorded by ARTE Concert tv and streamed til Dec 7th.
